Domestic doctors and representatives of various travel services gave several useful tips that Help you sleep better on the flight. Medical experts, for example, suggest cutting back on sleep the night before your flight. This will help you relax faster on the plane. Doctors also advise against drinking alcohol before and during your flight. Instead, buy a bottle of water at Duty Free. Psychotherapists recommend that those with a fear of flying use relaxation and meditation techniques.

Experts from various travel services also offer a few life hacks. If you're flying with two people, try to reserve the outer seats in a row of three seats when checking in online. If the plane isn't fully occupied, the middle seat will remain empty, giving you extra space. If you're flying alone, book a window seat. This will also give you more space and a wall to lean against for the same price. Plus, you won't be bothered by your neighbors asking to go to the restroom.

Experts also listed several items worth taking on a plane: a horseshoe pillow for head support, a small lumbar pillow, a sleep mask, earplugs or noise-canceling headphones, a player with relaxing music or nature sounds, and lozenges or motion sickness medication. A warm blanket from home would also be a good idea. Don't count on being given one on board. Firstly, they are limited in supply. Secondly, they are not always impeccable in terms of hygiene.
