Haven't registered yet? Then Emirates will come to you.

Emirates Airlines is offering its passengers an unusual service: check-in and baggage drop-off at home, according to Gulf News Aviation.

The service is called Home Check-in. Upon prior request, airline employees will visit the passenger at home or, for example, at a hotel. They check him in for the flight, issue a boarding pass, and tag and collect his luggage, which they themselves deliver to the airport and place in his luggage.

To use the service, immediately after purchasing a ticket, you must complete an application on the airline's website and book Home Check-in. Afterward, airline staff will contact the passenger to confirm the service. Between 48 and 7 hours before departure, a check-in agent will arrive at the designated location. Upon arrival at the airport, the passenger will proceed directly to border control and pre-flight security.

The new service is available to passengers of all travel classes. The offer is available to Emirates customers departing from Dubai. The service costs AED 350 (approximately £951) for up to seven pieces of baggage. Any additional baggage will incur a fee of AED 35 (approximately £91). Home Check-in can be booked up to 12 hours before departure.
