AZUR air passengers are advised to check the departure airport

Charter airline Azur Air is transferring all its Moscow flights from Domodedovo to Vnukovo. To avoid confusion, passengers are advised to confirm their departure airport in advance, according to the carrier's press service.

From 1 Azur Air will begin transferring its Moscow flights to Vnukovo International Airport in October. The transition will reportedly be carried out in several stages. The company plans to initially deploy Boeing 737-800 aircraft, followed by Boeing 757-200s. The long-haul fleet is expected to be transferred by the end of October.

At the same time, Azur Air's flight schedule at Domodedovo Airport includes flights until December. The last scheduled flight is scheduled for Moscow to Phuket on the night of the first day of winter. Passengers flying on Azur Air flights are advised to confirm their departure airport before travel, as well as monitor the airline's website and the online timetables at Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports.

The carrier's press service noted that the change of base airport to Moscow will provide passengers with additional convenience. The press service noted that Vnukovo has the best transport accessibility among the airports in the Moscow aviation hub. This is ensured, in particular, by ground public transport connections from the Sokolnicheskaya and Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya lines of the Moscow Metro, the operation of the special night bus route No. H11, and high-speed Aeroexpress trains.
