The journey to Pulkovo may take longer than usual

Pulkovo Airport has rerouted public transportation and enhanced security measures until May 27, according to the airport's press service.

In connection with the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), the public transport stop at Pulkovo Airport is changing its location. Until May 27, buses #39 and #39 Express, running between the Moskovskaya metro station and the passenger terminal, will stop at a temporary platform. It is located in bus parking lot P10, to the right of the exit from the airport's arrivals area. Passengers will be able to board and disembark at the platform.

When planning the route to Pulkovo Airport, the administration also asks that enhanced security measures be taken into account. Specifically, only accredited vehicles for the economic forum will be allowed to enter the first lane of the terminal square in the arrivals and departures areas until May 27. Furthermore, after exiting Pulkovo Highway, a checkpoint has been set up on the road to the airport, with inspection of vehicles entering the airport. The second lane of the terminal square and the airport parking complex (zones P1, P2, P3, P4) will continue to operate as usual.

We'd like to add that a new free parking lot opened near the airport on May 23. It's located on the odd-numbered side of Pulkovo Highway toward the airport, southwest of the intersection with Vnukovskaya Street, immediately after the traffic police post. The parking lot is open 24/7 and has 120 spaces. It's intended for short-term parking of passenger cars only.
