Rostourism removed the legal entity Natalie Tours from the Russian registry of tour operators. This was reported by Interfax on Tuesday, September 4.
The order, signed by the head of the Federal Tourism Agency Oleg Safronov, states: “...to exclude From the unified federal register of tour operators, information on the following tour operators carrying out tour operator activities using the designation “Natalie Tours” and a single website on the Internet information and telecommunications network www.natalie-tours.ru: Panorama Tour LLC, NATALI Travel Agency LLC, and Natalie Tour Operator LLC.
The document emphasizes that the companies are excluded due to the cancellation of all orders/tourism services as of July 4, 2018.”
Tour operators have been notified of Rostourism's decision to remove them from the register. The document states that the termination of a tour operator's activities due to the inability to fulfill all obligations under its tourism product sales contracts does not relieve the operator of its obligation to provide tourists with services included in the tourism product under its contracts for the sale of the tourism product.
Ingosstrakh insurance company has begun accepting documents from affected tourists. Interfax reminds residents of Moscow and the Moscow region that to submit a claim, they should contact the company's offices in Moscow or send documents via Russian Post.
The package must include: a claim for insurance compensation, a copy of a passport (pages with a photograph and registered address) or other identification document, a copy of the contract for the sale of the tourist product with all appendices (with the original contract required), and original documents confirming the actual damages incurred by the tourist and/or other customer as a result of the tour operator's failure to fulfill its obligations under the contract for the sale of the tourist product. Such documents may include original invoices, receipts, and payment documents issued by organizations such as carriers, hotels, and inns.
If the tourist purchased the tour through a travel agency, a copy of the payment order from the travel agent to the tour operator, certified by the travel agent's seal, must be attached to the documents.
Copies of documents evidencing the tour operator's refusal to voluntarily satisfy the claim for compensation for actual damages incurred by the tourist and/or other customer as a result of the tour operator's failure to fulfill its obligations under the contract for the sale of the tourist product are also required.
