Traditional summer sales in Italy begin on July 7. They will last until the end of August, and in some regions until mid-September, according to the Grottaglieinrete website.

Italian experts also offered some tips on how to shop during sales. They recommend:

- decide in advance what needs to be bought,
- Be wary of discounts over 50%, as the product may be defective.

- Do not buy goods without a price tag.
And remember that in stores that accept bank cards, the seller is obliged to accept payment without additional commissions and markups.
