Air Serbia plans to launch flights from Belgrade to Rostov-on-Don this summer. Flights will operate four times a week starting June 5, according to Travel.ru.
Departure from Belgrade on Tuesdays and Sundays at 23.10, on Wednesdays and Fridays at 23.40, arrival in Rostov at 3.00 and 3.00.30, respectively. Return departures are on Mondays and Wednesdays at 3:45, and on Thursdays and Saturdays at 4:15, arriving in Belgrade at 5:55 and 6:25. An Airbus A319 aircraft will be used on this route.
The lowest round-trip fare found is €258.50 without baggage allowance and €298.50 with baggage allowance. A one-way ticket costs €138 without baggage allowance and €158 with baggage allowance. Slightly higher fares are available from Rostov-on-Don and to many European destinations with a transfer in Belgrade. Adding baggage allowance to a baggage-free fare costs €60 each way—in other words, you should decide whether you need baggage allowance before purchasing your ticket.
All passengers are allowed carry-on baggage weighing up to 8 kilograms and no larger than 55 x 40 x 23 centimeters. Additionally, they are allowed to bring an additional item weighing no more than 4 kilograms, which may include a computer or handbag, a small backpack, Duty Free purchases, or a camera or video camera. Please note that airport check-in may incur a fee if available online on the airline's website. Seat selection is also subject to a fee.
Rostov will become Air Serbia's fourth Russian destination. The company currently flies from Belgrade to Moscow and Krasnodar year-round, and to St. Petersburg during the summer season.
