International airfare prices will increase on Wednesday.

The increase in euro-denominated airfares for international flights from Russia will take effect on April 11. The euro exchange rate for international airfare is set weekly on Wednesdays, with ruble prices calculated using the Central Bank of Russia's euro exchange rate for Tuesday, rounded up to the nearest 50 kopecks. The Central Bank's exchange rate for Tuesday, April 10, is set at 71.88 rubles per euro, and a rate of 72 rubles per euro will be used for airfare sales in the coming week. The increase will be one ruble (last week, the exchange rate was 71 rubles per euro), reports Travel.ru's own correspondent.

Therefore, passengers who have decided on their international travel plans from Russia should purchase tickets before midnight from Tuesday to Wednesday. Some airlines are also applying this rate to some fees on domestic flights—these tickets will also become slightly more expensive, but the increase will be significantly smaller. On April 11, most international airfare, as well as some fees on domestic flights, will increase by approximately 1.5%.
