As of July 15, Vladivostok International Airport added a new flight on the Vladivostok-Mudanjiang route. Aurora Airlines has resumed flights on this route. Flights will be operated twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays. A Bombardier Q400 aircraft is involved, the airport's press service reported.

With the resumption of the route, Vladivostok residents and visitors will be able to reach the Chinese city of Mudanjiang by direct flight in just one hour and 20 minutes. Departure from Vladivostok is at 7:05 PM local time, arriving in Vladivostok at 10:30 PM.
Currently, air travel between Vladivostok and Chinese airports is provided by three Russian carriers—Aurora, S7 Airlines, and Ural Airlines—and two Chinese carriers—China Express and China Southern Airlines.
Vladivostok International Airport currently offers air service to 10 Chinese cities. Between January and June 2018, flights to China increased by 181,300 compared to the same period in 2017.
