AZUR air is launching regular flights to Turkey from 23 Russian cities. The list of destinations includes routes to Antalya from Belgorod, Nizhny Novgorod, Voronezh, Kaliningrad, Murmansk, Syktyvkar, Rostov-on-Don, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen, Krasnoyarsk, and Kemerovo. Novokuznetsk, Tomsk, Irkutsk, Mineralnye Vody, Novosibirsk, Barnaul, Astrakhan, Surgut; to Dalaman from Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Kaliningrad, Belgorod and Nizhnekamsk; to Bodrum from Yekaterinburg, Rostov-on-Don and Krasnodar.

"In 2018, almost a quarter of the airline's passenger traffic was to Turkey. This year, Turkish resorts are enjoying even greater demand from Russian tourists. First and foremost, the launch of regular flights allows clients of our partner tour operators to make more precise travel plans thanks to a reliable flight schedule. At the same time, we strive to meet the needs of independent travelers," says AZUR air's CEO. Yuri Fedorovich Stogniy.
As the airline's press service told TRN, with the introduction of regular flights, tourists who prefer to visit the country as part of independently planned trips will be able to purchase tickets on the airline's official website, azurair.com, or through its network of accredited agents.
Azur Air currently operates charter and scheduled flights to Turkey from 39 Russian cities to four destinations: Antalya, Alanya, Bodrum, and Dalaman. In 2019, flights to Antalya were launched from Orsk, Makhachkala, and Magnitogorsk. Most routes utilize larger-capacity Boeing 767-300 aircraft compared to last year, while the airline's flagship Boeing 777-300ER, with a 42-seat business class cabin, is used on the Moscow-Bodrum route. Overall, preliminary market estimates suggest that demand for the Turkish route is expected to increase in 2019, potentially reaching approximately 10–121 seats.
