According to the results of the study, the top five most popular cities for the May holidays included St. Petersburg, Kazan, Moscow, Petrozavodsk and Nizhny Novgorod.
According to experts, tourists primarily book excursions for the May holidays, ranging from two days in Nizhny Novgorod to four days in St. Petersburg. The cheapest vacation for travelers is in Nizhny Novgorod—2,500 rubles for two days, while the most expensive is in Kazan—2,800 rubles for two days.
Also, according to hotel booking data, travelers in Moscow will pay 2,700 rubles for 3 days, in Petrozavodsk - 3,400 rubles for 2 days, and in St. Petersburg - 3,500 rubles for 3.5 days.
