Flydubai will increase the frequency of flights from Kurumoch International Airport (part of the Airports of Regions holding company) to Dubai to four direct scheduled flights per week. The Samara airport's winter schedule, which will take effect on October 29, 2017, includes: Departures on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

"Flydubai will resume direct scheduled flights from Samara on September 27. The frequency will be two flights per week, on Wednesdays and Sundays, with the number of departures to double at the end of October. Passengers will be transported on Boeing 737-800 aircraft, departing from Samara at 3:05 PM local time," the airport's press service noted.
It's worth noting that, in the first half of 2017, passenger traffic on the Samara-Dubai route increased 2.5-fold, reaching 17,000 passengers. One of the main reasons for this was the decision to simplify visa regulations between the UAE and Russia. As a reminder, starting February 1, 2017, Russian citizens planning tourist trips to the UAE are no longer required to obtain electronic visas in advance. They are issued upon arrival in the country, free of charge.
