Aeroflot Group will fully transfer to the new Beijing airport.

Aeroflot Airlines plans to completely transfer its flights to Beijing's new Daxing Airport. This applies to both its own flights from Moscow and those of its subsidiary, Aurora Airlines, from cities in the Far East, reports Travel.ru.

Aurora will be the first to change airports. Starting March 29, it will transfer its Vladivostok and Khabarovsk flights from Beijing's old main Capital Airport to the new Daxing Airport.

Aeroflot will begin relocating to Daxing this summer, with the launch of its fourth flight on June 3. Departure from Moscow daily, except Tuesdays, is at 12:55 AM, arriving in Beijing (Daxing) at 1:05 PM. Return departure is at 2:45 PM, arriving in Moscow at 5:25 PM.

Aeroflot's other three Beijing flights are still scheduled to depart from the old Capital Airport this summer, but only until October 24. Departures from Moscow are at 12:30, 16:20, and 21:20, arriving in Beijing at 1:00, 4:15, and 9:50, respectively. Return departures are at 2:45, 5:45, and 11:40, arriving in Moscow at 5:35, 8:30, and 14:35. Furthermore, all three of these flights are being converted to the most modern aircraft in Aeroflot's fleet—the Airbus A350. The conversion is expected to begin on May 1 (for the second flight) and June 1 for the first and third flights, respectively.

Starting October 25, Aeroflot's total number of flights to Beijing will be reduced from four to two (the same number operated this winter), with both flights now exclusively to the new Daxing Airport. Currently, the 11:50 AM Moscow and 2:15 AM Beijing flights are scheduled to operate on an Airbus A350, while the 9:20 PM Moscow and 11:50 AM Beijing flights will operate on a Boeing 777-300.

Daxing Airport opened several months ago. It is located approximately 45 kilometers south of central Beijing and is connected to the city by express metro and rail lines. Siberia Airlines (S7 Airlines) previously decided to transfer flights to Daxing. Ural Airlines is also considering a move to the new airport.
