InterContinental Hotels Group has signed a partnership agreement with SKS Hotel Residences & Resorts, part of the SKS Group.
The agreement provides for the launch of a new Holiday Inn hotel in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The Holiday Inn Johor Bahru City Center will offer 318 rooms, according to Hotel. Management.
Holiday Inn Johor Bahru City Centre will be part of the Komtar JBCC mixed-use development, which includes retail and commercial office space.
"Johor Bahru has enormous economic potential, further fueled by its connection to Singapore and the increasing flow of tourists. It is worth noting that SKS Group is one of the largest players in the Johor hotel market with a strong hotel portfolio.
