IrAero has experienced disruptions to its flight schedule to Hainan.

Pearl River once again encountered problems with its carrier: an IrAero flight from Khabarovsk to Hainan made an emergency landing in Vladivostok on December 7.

As a reminder, flight 861 departed Khabarovsk at 04:35 7 December 8, while it was scheduled to depart at 1:35 AM. Several hours later, the plane made an emergency landing in Vladivostok. According to the city airport's online flight information, the flight will not depart until 3:40 PM on December 8.

The investigative bodies of the Far Eastern Transport Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation are conducting a procedural investigation into the emergency landing of the Boeing 777-200 aircraft of IrAero Airlines under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet safety requirements).

According to preliminary data, the unplanned landing was caused by a malfunction in the engine's oil system. The investigation will determine the full circumstances and causes of the incident.

A technical glitch at IrAero has also delayed other flights operated by Pearl River Airlines. Flight 863 from Chelyabinsk to Haikou, scheduled for 9:05 AM on December 8, has been delayed. The flight is now scheduled to depart at 8 PM. Return flight 864 from Haikou to Chelyabinsk, scheduled to depart at 2:00 AM on December 8, has also been delayed and rescheduled for 7:10 AM.

As a reminder, on November 23, IrAero Flight 862 also failed to depart Haikou for Khabarovsk. According to the carrier, the delay was caused by a malfunctioning hydraulic pump on the aircraft. The passengers returned to Khabarovsk only on November 26.
