The most active tourists in the next three months will come from the Asia-Pacific region (APAC) will visit Japan, the UAE, and Indonesia, according to a new study by Forwardkeys, Asia Pacific Travel Trends 2018.
So, from May 2017 to April 2018, the tourist flow from China (the No. 1 outbound market) increased by 5%, while the total flow from the Asia-Pacific region increased by 8.5%.
In the next three months – from May to July of this year – the outgoing flow from China is expected to increase by 8.9%, and from the entire APAC region – by 7.6%.
According to the forecast, tourist flow to Russia from Asian countries will increase by 5.71% per year (3.5%). This growth is largely due to the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which begins in June.
