Data on the most frequent New Year's searches conducted by users on the www.hometogo.ru platform was used. Russian destinations top the list, while Finland and Estonia are the most popular foreign destinations.
Celebrating New Year while traveling is becoming increasingly popular among Russians, with Russian cities being their top choice.
According to HomeToGo, for New Year's 2018, Russians are looking for vacation rentals in the Krasnodar Krai (Sochi and Krasnaya Polyana), the Moscow region, and Moscow.
