A dedicated "Mountain Patrol" has been established at the Gorki Gorod resort. This is the first time such a service has been established. The patrol's primary function is to ensure compliance with resort regulations and the international FIS rules of conduct on the slopes, according to the resort's press service.

According to Gennady Didenko, Head of Operational Services at the Gorki Gorod resort, The main function of the "Mountain Patrol" is to ensure that guests comply with the resort rules.
"We're talking not only about tourist areas—the cable car and drop-off areas—but also about the ski slopes. The patrol was launched a few days ago; six people are currently constantly patrolling all pistes and slopes. They are also tasked with preventing rogue instructors from working. We've already received initial reports—a database of rogue instructors has been compiled, and work is underway to prevent them from appearing at our resort. Mountain Patrol staff are also working with guests. It's no secret that violations occur along the ski area perimeters, specifically when people cross the fences on the slopes and enter restricted areas. Mountain Patrol helps identify such violators. For now, we're getting by with simple warnings, but in the future, we plan to take more serious measures—including terminating services and blocking ski passes. This is the first time the Mountain Patrol has been established as a separate unit, and we have ideas for how to expand. The patrol will operate until the end of the season,” said Gennady Didenko.
