Let us recall that, based on the results of the company’s inspection, the Moscow prosecutor’s office demanded that a criminal case be opened against the tour operator “Natalie Tours”.
"The materials of the prosecutor's inspection of the tour operator's compliance with the requirements of federal legislation on consumer protection and tourism activities have been sent to the preliminary investigation body to decide on criminal prosecution. The results of the inspection are under the control of the Moscow prosecutor's office," the department said in a statement.
The investigation began on July 20.
Earlier, the insurance company Ingosstrakh stated that if the tour operator Natalie Tours announces a halt to operations, it is ready to pay compensation to all tourists. But their amount will be approximately 4.8% of the cost of the tour.
