Russian Railways is offering discounted tickets for compartments on double-decker trains #5/6, #23/24, and #25/26 on the Moscow-St. Petersburg line, as well as on the Red Arrow and Express trains. The sale applies to travel for the next three months, according to Travel.ru.
Tickets on double-decker trains cost 1,199 rubles for the upper berth and 1,383-1,486 rubles for the lower berth. On the Red Arrow and Express trains, they cost 1,899 rubles and 2,285 rubles, respectively. The promotion applies to both upper and lower berths.
Tickets are on sale until January 25 for flights through April 24. Exceptions include flights from March 7 to 10. A similar promotion is also running on southern routes from Moscow and St. Petersburg.
