Tourists from Yekaterinburg were poisoned at a hotel in the United Arab Emirates, RIA Novosti reports, citing the E1 portal. According to Ekaterina, a vacationer there, about 50 Russian and foreign tourists fell ill after breakfast at the Sheraton Hotel in Sharjah.

"We created a group chat with 50 people who felt ill after breakfast on May 9th," says Ekaterina. "The food was definitely to blame. My child didn't have breakfast, so he didn't get sick. But my husband and I are still feeling unwell. A doctor has already visited our room twice. Some tourists have even been hospitalized."
"According to currently available information, isolated cases of enterovirus have been confirmed among vacationers at the Sheraton Hotel in Sharjah," confirms Maya Lomidze, Executive Director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia.
The number of tourists who have requested assistance will be clarified on Monday.
