From July 1, Aeroflot Airlines increases fuel surcharges for flights within Russia and to CIS countries. This information was published on the company's website.
“On the territory of the Russian Federation, fuel surcharges indicated in foreign currency are paid in rubles at the exchange rate in effect on the day of payment. The fuel surcharge for each Business class flight segment is 200% of the surcharge for the Economy class flight segment. For sales from June 27, 2019 and transportation from July 01, 2019, the fuel surcharge for each Comfort class flight segment is 150% of the surcharge for the Economy class flight segment. Fuel surcharges are refundable if the passenger refuses to travel and returns the ticket. Fuel surcharges on some routes may differ from the standard ones," the statement says.
On domestic flights in Economy class, the fuel surcharge will increase by 235 rubles from 2465 to 2700 rubles, on Moscow-Yakutia flights - from 3965 to 4200 rubles. On routes between Moscow and cities in the Far East and Magadan, fuel surcharges will not be charged.
It is also noted that fees in Economy class on flights from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Georgia and in the opposite direction will increase by 5 euros (from 1,080 to 1,440 rubles). In addition, the fuel surcharge will double in Business class and will amount to 40 euros.
In addition, as follows from the data on the website, from July the airline will subdivide the fuel surcharge for the Comfort class. Previously, it was the same as for the Economy class, but the amount of the surcharge will increase by 1.5 times.
