S7 Airlines is opening four new regular flights from Pulkovo in the summer season of 2019. The carrier's route network will be expanded with the following cities: Palmada Mallorca, Barcelona (Spain), Nice (France) and Anapa.
Flights on the route Saint Petersburg — Palma de Mallorca will be a new addition to the Pulkovo Airport schedule. S7 Airlines flights from the Northern capital to the largest Spanish island will be operated from April 26, 2019 on Tuesdays and Fridays.
S7 Airlines flights from St. Petersburg to another Spanish city and one of the most popular foreign destinations from Pulkovo, Barcelona, will be operated from April 28, 2019 on Wednesdays and Sundays. In addition, from June 1, 2019, the carrier will begin operating flights from Pulkovo to Nice on the French Riviera twice a week. Flights from St. Petersburg to the Black Sea resort town of Anapa will be operated from April 26, 2019 up to three times a week.
Also, from May 2019, S7 Airlines will open regular flights from St. Petersburg to Irkutsk. There has been no direct air service between the cities since 2012.
In 2018, S7 Airlines entered the top three airlines in terms of transportation volumes from Pulkovo. Last year, the airline served 1.4 million passengers in St. Petersburg, which is 20% more than the figure for 2017.
Taking into account the new routes, the geography of S7 Airlines flights from Pulkovo in 2019 will include 21 destinations, including 12 Russian and 9 foreign.
