
S7 Airlines plans to increase the number of flights from Moscow to Penza by 50% starting this summer. Starting May 31, it will operate three flights daily, up from the current two, according to a Travel.ru correspondent.
A late evening flight from Moscow and an early morning flight from Penza will be added. From May 31, flights from Moscow (Domodedovo Airport) will depart at 8:25, 17:30, and (except Saturday) 22:15, arriving in Penza at 9:50, 18:55, and 23:40. Return flights will depart at 6:05 (except Sunday), 10:30, and 19:35, arriving in Moscow at 7:35, 12:00, and 21:05.
The route uses an Embraer 170 aircraft. One-way fares start at 2903 rubles without baggage and 3403 rubles with baggage.
The route opened just six months ago, on August 31, 2017, with one flight per day. Since January, the number of flights has doubled, and further expansion is planned.
