Russian Railways has introduced a special offer for travel on double-decker train #641/642 between Rostov-on-Don and Sochi. A ticket for a compartment on the full route costs 1,099 rubles for the upper berth and 1,500 rubles for the lower berth, according to Travel.ru.
The price from Rostov to Lazarevskoye on some routes is even lower: 705 rubles for the upper berth and 1,106 rubles for the lower berth. Tickets to Tuapse on the same routes cost 684 and 1,064 rubles, respectively. If these fares are unavailable, you should purchase a ticket for the entire route. For trips to or from Krasnodar (these tickets are more expensive), you should purchase a cheaper ticket for one of the longer routes listed above, using it only for part of the journey.
Tickets are on sale until May 31st, and travel is possible from May 28th to June 13th. The promotion does not apply to peak travel dates: June 9th from Rostov-on-Don and June 12th from Sochi.
