TUI unveiled its first winter tours to Kamchatka.

A presentation of the joint project "Kamchatka. Winter Adventures" by Kamchatka tour operators and TUI Russia was held at the Intourmarket International Tourism Exhibition, the company's press service reported.

Agency for Tourism and External Relations and Tourist The Kamchatka Krai Information Center, representatives of Kamchatka's tourism industry, and TUI Russia representatives discussed the company's new product—package tours to Kamchatka—and the region's tourism potential.

In January, Kamchatka Krai Governor Vladimir Ilyukhin and TUI Russia CEO Taras Demura signed a cooperation agreement to develop inbound and domestic tourism. Following collaboration with the Kamchatka Tourism Industry Association and the region's leading tour operators, TUI Russia introduced a new product: winter package tours to Kamchatka. The average price for a tour excluding flights is 35,000 rubles.

"TUI Russia is currently actively working to expand its domestic tourism product. Kamchatka is a promising and exciting destination that should definitely be accessible to Russians. Thanks to our collaboration with the regional government and the tourism industry, we have created affordable and comprehensive package tours to the region," he stated. "The peak tourist season in Kamchatka occurs in the summer. During this time, hotels are practically fully booked, and air tickets to the region are significantly more expensive. In winter, you can visit the region at flat rates, and the tourist product is no less interesting. Our partnership with TUI is strategic for us; it will help unlock the potential of Kamchatka's winter season, attract more Russians who dream of visiting Kamchatka, and give new impetus to tourism development," said Elena Stratonova, head of the Kamchatka Krai Agency for Tourism and External Relations.

During the winter season, tourists can enjoy excursion and ethnographic routes, cruises on Avacha Bay, helicopter tours, volcano trips, thermal spring bathing, snowmobile and dog sledding trips, skiing, downhill skiing and snowboarding, heli-skiing, and ice fishing. Package programs to Kamchatka are already available on the tour operator's website, and the range will expand soon.
