In 2019, the tourist flow to Tunisia was a record, tour operators are expanding charter programs

In 2019, the foreign tourist flow to Tunisia broke all records - the country was visited by about 9.5 million travelers, which is 13.6% more than in 2018. At the same time, our compatriots spent the most nights in the country's hotels, although in terms of the number of visits to Tunisia, they turned out to be in 2nd place. "Overall, 2019 was a successful year for the Tunisian tourism industry. If in 2018 we had 599 thousand guests from Russia on holiday, then last year there were already 633 - an increase of almost 6%. Against this background, tour operators have already informed us about the expansion of flight programs. Of course, such growth is also due to the tour operators who promote and develop our direction on the Russian market, for which we are very grateful to them," he said. Nezhi Guider, Head of the Tunisian National Tourism Office in Russia and the CIS.

Tour operators also say that interest in Tunisia among Russians is growing. Thus, in press service "Intourist" emphasized that, compared to last year, demand for the company's destination has already grown by 45%. Incidentally, this season, NTK Intourist will fly to Tunisia on the blocks of two airlines of this country - Tunisian Airlines and Nouvelle Air. Flights will be carried out from Moscow and St. Petersburg. "Hotel prices this year are not much different from last year's, a number of hotels offer promotions as part of the early booking campaign with a 50% discount for the 2+1 accommodation option, and sometimes 2+2, where the child's age can sometimes reach 15 years, which, of course, attracts many families, because at many other Mediterranean resorts this age is no longer considered "childish", - the company specified.

IN press service "ANEX Tour" noted that In the upcoming season, the tour operator's flight program to Tunisia will be carried out from Moscow and 17 regions of Russia. From April 24, the tour operator's charters will fly to Enfidha daily from Moscow and once every 10/11 days from the regions. Flights from Moscow to Djerba will be carried out 5 times a week from April 26 and once every 10/11 days from Yekaterinburg, Samara, Kazan and St. Petersburg.

“Discounts under the ‘early booking’ promotion currently reach 30% and will be valid until April 30,” the company emphasized.

Thus, from April 24 to October 25, the tour operator's own charter program on the Moscow-Djerba route will be carried out by Ural Airlines twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays. In addition, from April 25, TUI Russia's own charter chain from Moscow to Enfidha will start. It will last until May 20. Flights will be carried out on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The company will also have blocks of seats on Azur Air flights from Moscow to Enfidha.

It is worth noting that the tour operator TUI has significantly expanded the geography of departures in the SUMMER 2020 season and will offer tours to Tunisia from Moscow, St. Petersburg and 13 more regions of the Russian Federation: Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Krasnodar, Samara, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, Tyumen, Omsk, Perm, Novosibirsk, Belgorod, Nizhny Novgorod and Arkhangelsk.
