Vnukovo International Airport plans to handle approximately 23 million passengers next year, according to Vitaly Vantsev, chairman of the board of directors and co-owner of Vnukovo.
“We expect 23 million passengers at Vnukovo next year. We are approximately We understand who will grow and who we are counting on for growth next year. We will hope for this and we will grow,” noted Vitaly Vantsev.
He also said that by the end of this year, the international airport will receive more than 21 million tourists, although the planned figure was 20.5 million, reports Rossiya 24.
"As of today, we've already welcomed 21 million passengers. So, 2018 was a very good year for us in terms of passenger traffic; we exceeded all our expectations and will welcome more than 21 million passengers," he said.
