New Caribbean resort to open in 2021

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group announced the opening of a new resort on Grand Cayman Island in the Caribbean. Opening is scheduled for 2021.

The Mandarin Oriental, Grand Cayman resort will feature 100 guest rooms and 89 Residences at Mandarin Oriental. Located on the coast, it will occupy an area of 271,139 square meters in the town

St. James Point, just fifteen minutes' drive from the airport, offers a elevated location overlooking a private white-sand beach, offering guests the opportunity to relax in privacy.

Spacious, modern rooms will offer breathtaking Caribbean sunsets and sunrises. The hotel will house five restaurants and bars, all of which will also overlook the ocean. Thanks to the resort's on-site farm, only the freshest and most natural ingredients will make it to the restaurants' kitchens.

The resort offers not only relaxation at the Spa at Mandarin Oriental but also a variety of sports. A modern fitness center, several outdoor pools, and tennis courts are available. Walking and cycling paths run throughout the resort, and the Beach Club offers everything for relaxation and active play. The resort also offers the opportunity to host business events and weddings in specially equipped rooms or outdoors.

Staying at the Residences at Mandarin Oriental, guests will experience all the benefits of a private villa, combined with the hotel chain's legendary service and free access to all the resort's activities.

The project manager is Melkonian Capital Management, an investment firm specializing in private equity, real estate, and public markets. New York-based RAL Development Services is the developer.
