Georgia Launches Discount Card for Tourists

Bank of Georgia is offering tourists Tourist Cards, which will allow visitors to the country to save on services, Interfax reports, citing Georgia Today.

The Bank of Georgia announced the introduction of cards for tourists, which will allow visitors from abroad “Enjoy discounts when visiting restaurants and various attractions,” the newspaper writes.

According to the publication, the Tourist Card allows any traveler visiting Georgia to use the card to pay for rides on the metro, buses, minibuses, and cable cars. Discounts are also available at cafes, bars, restaurants, museums, souvenir shops, travel agencies, hotels, and shopping centers.

The card costs just over 10 lari (250 rubles) and is now available for purchase. Upon purchasing the Tourist Card, visitors to the country will receive a SIM card and 1,000 megabytes of internet.
