A 200,000-square-meter Aquaventure water park has opened on the Chinese island of Hainan. It is the first year-round water park in China.
Aquaventure Water Park is located in the new Atlantis Sanya hotel complex and is free for hotel guests. Admission for all other visitors is 358 RMB ($56) for adults and 259 RMB (just over $40) for children.
Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of slides, numerous pools, underground rivers, a golden-sand beach, and the Splashers children's play area. Guests can also encounter sharks and rays, and even swim with dolphins.
The first Aquaventure water park is open in Dubai and remains popular with tourists.
