On December 1, the world's largest artificial ice rink opened at VDNKh in Moscow. It can accommodate up to 5,000 people at a time, ensuring a comfortable and safe stay for all.
The skating rink is located on the Main Alley, from Pavilion No. 1, "Central," to Pavilion No. 58, "Agriculture." The famous VDNKh fountains are surrounded by ice rinks. The ice surface area is over 20,000 square meters. An illuminated pedestrian bridge has been built over the rink, offering panoramic views of the illuminated ice.
Throughout the season, visitors can expect festive concerts and sporting competitions, according to the skating rink's press service. A separate ice rink with its own rental pavilion will be open for children. Additionally, more than ten cafes will offer delicious food and hot drinks.
The rink will have three rental shops and two skate sharpening stations.
The VDNKh skating rink will be open daily, except Mondays, from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM on weekdays and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM on weekends and holidays. A maintenance break to restore the ice surface will be from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
