From November 13 to 15, 2019, the Tourism Industry Forum, a major regional project that showcased a wide range of recreational activities for residents of Bashkortostan, was held in Ufa, the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The forum featured an exhibition, business events, and more. and an educational program for visitors.
These events were organized and supported by the State Tourism Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Administration of the Ufa Urban District of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Bashkortostan Regional Branch of the United Russia Party, and the Bashkir Exhibition Company. Co-organizers of the business program were the Ufa State Petroleum Technological University and the Bashkir Branch of the Russian Geographical Society.
The official opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by: Chairman of the State Tourism Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan S. T. Nafikov, Chairman of the Committee of the State Assembly - Kurultai of the Republic of Bashkortostan for Industry, Innovative Development, Trade, Entrepreneurship and Tourism Kh. Kh. Rakhimov; Head of the Regional Executive Committee of the United Russia Party, Deputy of the State Assembly - Kurultai of the Republic of Bashkortostan R. M. Akhmadinurov; Head of the Department of Consumer Market, Tourism and Consumer Protection of the Administration of the Urban District of the city of Ufa of the Republic of Bashkortostan L. S. Makshukova, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Russia Vítezslav Pivonka; Deputy State Committee for Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Abkhazia A. Kh. Bardits, Director of the Tourism Development Center of the Chelyabinsk Region D. A. Stolbov, Chairman of the Bashkir Branch of the Russian Geographical Society, Rector of the Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after M. Akmully S. T. Sagitov, Director of the Institute of Economics and Service of the Ufa State Petroleum Technical University N. Z. Solodilova; First Deputy General Director of the Bashkir Exhibition Company T. A. Davletshina.



TOURISM INDUSTRY FORUM
Seventy-four companies from 10 districts of Bashkortostan and 12 regions of Russia participated in the exhibition. For the first time, the Czech Republic and the Republic of Abkhazia presented their respective countries' attractions and tourist routes in Bashkortostan. This year's Forum was attended by a large number of tourism industry specialists, as well as residents of the Republic of Bashkortostan and Ufa, totaling 5,400.


Exhibits from Russia's regions offered visitors recreational opportunities in St. Petersburg, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, as well as the Chelyabinsk, Samara, Kaluga, Kurgan, and Orenburg regions, Kabardino-Balkaria, and Tatarstan.
The Republic of Crimea, Samara, and Orenburg Oblasts also showcased their tourism potential for the first time at the exhibition, with collective exhibits showcasing our republic's tourism potential, including holiday resorts, excursion centers, and event and ethno-tours. Notable exhibitors included Abzakovo, the ZVEZDNY Sports and Recreation Center, Golden Key, Kapova-Tour, Shulgan-Tash, and others.



The most renowned health resorts and sanatoriums of Bashkortostan, Samara Oblast, and Krasnodar Krai prepared special wellness holiday offers for adults and children for the forum. This year, the following sanatoriums participated in the forum: Assy, Samarsky, LOC Energetik, Morskaya Volna DSOL, Yubileyny, Yumatovo, Yakty-Kul, and Yangan-Tau. Krasnodar Krai and the Republic of Crimea invited guests to an exhibition of famous Black Sea resorts.



As part of the United Russia Regional Branch's "Discover the Republic" project, visitors were able to see a special exhibit, "Gold of the Sarmatians," see authentic bee hives from the Burzyansky District, and hear the melodies of the kurai.
Authentic Bashkir yurts, national costumes, household items, and singing were on display at the exhibitions of UMAY ethnoproduction and the Tamga Creative Association.



The forum was attended and attended by official delegations from the Czech Republic, headed by the Ambassador Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Russian Federation; the Republic of Abkhazia, which included: Deputy State Committee for Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Abkhazia A. Kh. Bartsits; President of the Abkhaz Union of Tourism NPO A. V. Kalyagina; and delegations from Russian regions.



The exhibition featured the following Activity Zones:
- Presentation zone of Russian regions.
- "Modern Sword Fighting" — MBU OMK "Scarlet Sails"
- "Ray Shooting Range" - "Archery and Shooting Club - 30 Yards"
- An interactive platform for the public from the Generation + organization
- Performance by musical ensembles: Center for Contemporary Choreography "Diva", Dance group "Hip-Hop Association", Artists of the Brevis production center

On the first day of the Tourism Industry Forum, an open studio of the BST TV channel was operating at the exhibition, with Forum officials as guests.
