German Railways (DB) has begun equipping InterCity (IC) trains with free Wi-Fi. The entire DB mainline fleet is expected to receive the equipment by the end of 2021, according to Travel.ru.
DB previously equipped its fastest InterCityExpress (ICE) trains with Wi-Fi. Please note that in second class, free access is limited to 200 megabytes per day per device. Free internet is also available on select regional and commuter train lines.
