Pobeda Airlines has offered passengers dressed as Father Frost and Snow Maiden a free flight on any of its flights. However, there's one condition, according to the carrier's press service.
The so-called low-cost airline "Pobeda" has launched a New Year's promotion. For those who are ready to fly dressed as Father Frost and Snow Maiden. The promotion will run from December 25th to January 10th. To participate, passengers must arrive at the check-in counter dressed as Father Frost or Snow Maiden and declare their desire to fly. They will receive their boarding pass only if there is a free seat on board, which will be determined after the rest of the passengers have checked in. The lucky passenger must spend the entire flight in their New Year's costume.
According to the airline's CEO, Andrey Kalmykov, the promotion is aimed at people who were unable to buy tickets for the New Year holidays and are willing to spend an indefinite amount of time at the airport for a free flight. Furthermore, passengers in New Year's costumes are intended to lift the spirits of those in civilian clothes. When asked about the chances of finding an empty seat on board, Kalmykov said they are quite realistic. However, many experts are confident that Pobeda will not have any empty seats on New Year's Eve.
Another important detail: the carrier will only allow passengers whose costumes meet specific standards to fly free. For example, Father Frost must have a beard, and the Snow Maiden must have a braid.
