The annual Ski Business Awards in the category "Best Russian Family Resort" went to the ski resort "Gora Belaya" near Nizhny Tagil. This was reported by the press service of Rostourism.
Every year, experts from the sports, tourism and hospitality markets, as well as Travel and active recreation enthusiasts choose the winners of the Ski Business Awards. Among them are the best projects in the field of alpine skiing. The winner of the award in the nomination "Best Family Resort in Russia" was the "Gora Belaya" complex in the Middle Urals, 37 km from the city of Nizhny Tagil.
The winter season here usually starts at the end of November. The complex has 5 ski slopes, 2 cross-country ski slopes, an outdoor ice rink and a hotel. The resort offers equipment and gear rental, snowmobiles, and snow tubing. The complex also operates in the summer. Mountain trekking and cycling are popular here.
Another winner of the Ski Business Awards was the Igora resort near St. Petersburg. It was awarded the prestigious prize in the category "All-Season Resort of Russia". In winter, people go skiing, snowboarding or tubing on the resort's slopes, and in summer, they swim in the lake, fish, and go boating.
