Natalie Tours clients are promised a refund of 100% for their cancelled vacation.

The management company of the 1001 Tour travel agency chain will compensate all its clients who suffered losses as a result of the actions of the tour operator Natalie Tours. This was announced in a company press release.

To all clients of the company "1001 tour" affected by the suspension The tour operator Natalie Tours promises to compensate for any damages remaining after payments from insurance companies and the Tour Operator Personal Liability Fund. The company clarified that tourists who lost their vacations will receive 100% from the money spent on Natalie tours. Step-by-step instructions for receiving compensation will be published by November 20.

TURIZM asked a representative of the network's Management Company to comment on this decision. "We firmly believe that tourists should not suffer from any negative market situations. In times when legislation is ineffective, insurance coverage is insufficient, and effective mechanisms for resolving such situations are virtually nonexistent, we decided to support our clients and give them the opportunity for new travel, demonstrating that there are travel agencies on the market willing to take on additional responsibilities in specific situations," stated 1001 Tour.

In addition, 1001 Tour has established a list of recommended tour operators and decided to introduce a new service for tourists: a free Compensation Guarantee (CG). This guarantee applies to Russians who book new tours from tour operators Anex Tour, Mouzenidis Travel, Pegas Touristik, and Tez Tour starting December 1, 2018. Thus, 1001 Tour assumes any potential risks associated with these companies' failure to fulfill their obligations. The list of recommended tour operators will be reviewed monthly.

As a reminder, in July 2018, the tour operator Natalie Tours, which operated charter programs to Barcelona, Rimini, Naples, Antalya, Heraklion, and several other destinations, announced the suspension of operations. Affected clients were forced to contact their insurance company to receive compensation. However, the number of Russians requesting refunds, and therefore the amount of insurance payments, was so high that the insurance company decided to refund affected clients no more than 5% of the tour cost.
