The International Committee for the Leaning Tower of Pisa has carried out further measurements of the angle of incidence. A world-famous landmark. According to experts, the bell tower of the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta in Pisa has straightened by 4 cm over the past 17 years.

The tower, located in Piazza del Duomo in Pisa, is one of the most famous monuments in the world due to its infamous tilt. During the work, which lasted until 2001, the tower was straightened by 45 centimeters thanks to a counterweight system and foundation reinforcement. Since the completion of the emergency repairs, a special monitoring group has been analyzing the tower's movement quarterly.

Millions of tourists visit the tower every year. From November to February, you can climb this popular landmark in central Pisa from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Tickets cost €18. Admission is strictly by scheduled times. The tower is located within the Pisa Cathedral complex.
