Mouzenidis Travel Announces Tours to Transcaucasia

For the 2018/2019 season, Mouzenidis Travel is announcing tours to Georgia's ski resorts, including Gudauri, Bakuriani, and the new addition, Tetnuldi. Additionally, the spa resort of Borjomi and Tskaltubo will be joined by the Sairme resort. This was announced this week. As part of the "VAH-the Cunning Caucasus" roadshow, the presentation meeting for the tour operator's three destinations—Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan—brought together more than 170 representatives from Moscow's travel agencies.

The presentation meeting for Moscow colleagues took place in the conference hall of the Holiday Inn Moscow Sokolniki hotel.

Mouzenidis Travel experts introduced colleagues to the product by country, discussing tours, flight programs, destination advantages, resorts, hotel inventory, seasonal innovations, and exclusive offers.

"We're focusing on destinations in the Transcaucasus, acknowledging Georgia's enormous tourist popularity, making it a pioneering destination for us in the region. Our tour operator operations in Georgia began in 2016. Over the past two years, we've achieved significant results: in 2017, we reached over 5,000 tourists," he stated in his welcoming address. Alexander Tsandekidi, General Director of Mouzenidis Travel - Russia and added that this year Mouzenidis Travel expects to double its growth figures in Georgia.

According to him, all the tour operator's hotels in Georgia offer instant confirmation, and group transfers are available for all stays.

Alexander Tsandekidi noted that over the two-year history of its Transcaucasus programs, the company has become a leader in receiving tourists in Georgia and is rapidly developing programs in neighboring destinations in the region—Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Thus, work on Armenia began in January 2018, and Azerbaijan joined the Caucasus trio in April. In Armenia, in addition to its extensive hotel portfolio, including the Bomo Nairi 4-star hotel, part of the Bomo Hotels chain, a division of the Mouzenidis Group, as well as popular excursion tours such as "Silk Road," "EreWine," "Eureka! Gifts of Armenia," the Jermuk thermal resort, and the Tsaghkadzor ski resort, programs with active recreation elements are planned.

Azerbaijan offers select hotel accommodations in Baku, Naftalan, and Gabala, with full-fledged excursion and wine-and-food tours in development.
