Aeroflot is considering increasing the number of flights from Moscow to Bangkok. A third daily flight may be added to the schedule starting October 28, according to Travel.ru.
Unlike the two regular winter flights, which depart from Moscow at night and from Bangkok in the afternoon, the new route will depart from Moscow in the morning and from Bangkok at night. It will be operated by an Airbus A330, while the two regular winter flights are operated by larger Boeing 777s. Tickets for the new route are currently only available for Saturday departures.
Starting October 28, flights from Moscow (Sheremetyevo Airport) will depart at 7:10, 19:25, and 21:45, arriving in Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi Airport) at 20:20, 8:20, and 10:35, respectively. Return flights will depart at 10:15, 12:35, and 21:50, arriving in Moscow at 16:10, 18:40, and 4:05.
The new flight could also be convenient for connections with Aeroflot's European routes, particularly from Bangkok. It's worth noting that the increased flight frequency only applies to the winter season, when demand for flights to Thailand is highest. Next year's summer schedule, as before, only includes one flight (departing from Moscow at 7:20 PM and from Bangkok at 10:00 AM, on an Airbus A330).
