Egypt's tourism revenue increased by 83%

Tourism revenue in Egypt increased by 123.51 TP3T in 2017 to reach $7.6 billion, Ahram Online reports, citing an official government source.

Meanwhile, in the first quarter of 2018, Egypt's revenue from the industry increased by 83.3 percent. (up to US$2.2 billion) compared to the same period last year.

Over the past quarter, tourist flow to the country increased by 37.1 percent and amounted to 2.383 million people, the media source added.

He also recalled that before the revolution in 2010, a total of 14.7 million people visited the country.

Currently, tourist flows to Egypt are actively recovering.
