Ski season opens in Korea

Popular ski resorts in South Korea, Elysian Gangchon and Daemyung Resort Vivaldi Park, have opened their ski season. This year, both resorts have prepared special offers and discounts for foreign tourists.

According to the Korea Tourism Organization, a special ski school for foreigners has opened at the Elysian Gangcheon Resort. The ski center is located near popular attractions such as Namiseom Island (Namisum-gil), Petite France Village, and Jade Garden, so it can expect interest from foreign tourists. Upon completion of the course, all students will be able to receive a certificate of completion, as well as a skier's sports T-shirt, discount coupons for Duty Free shops, self-heating pocket warmers, and other souvenirs. The ski season at the Elysian Gangcheon Resort will last until March 10, 2018.

This year, Vivaldi Park will have a free shuttle bus running specifically for foreign tourists, which will take skiers from Seoul in just over an hour. In addition, the ski resort will have a tourist center and equipment rental, a convenient online payment system, and so on.
