Starting from March 19, the UAE authorities are temporarily restricting entry into the Emirates for all foreign citizens, except for holders of diplomatic passports and persons who have a residence permit (resident visa). This was reported by the Russian Embassy in this country.
“This decision also applies to citizens of states with which international agreements on the abolition of visa requirements have been concluded, or agreements have been reached on the issuance of visas upon arrival,” the department reported, emphasizing that from March 19, 2020, entry of Russians holding official and ordinary passports to the United Arab Emirates is temporarily (until receiving the relevant notification) suspended.
At the same time, as the press service of the tour operator “TEZ Tour” reported to the TRN portal, those tourists who are already in the UAE will continue their vacation as usual.
"According to the UAE authorities, in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus epidemic, entry into the country of all foreign citizens will be suspended for an indefinite period from March 19. Tourists currently in the UAE through TEZ TOUR will continue their vacation without changes and will leave the country as planned in accordance with the vacation duration schedule and flight schedule," the company said.
