Tulip Gardens to Open in Rome and Milan

At the end of March, spring tulip gardens will open in Rome and Milan, where you can stroll and take photos among hundreds of thousands of flowers. Rome's TuliPark will open on March 21st on Via dei Gordiani, with over 300,000 tulips of around 90 different varieties planted across 26,000 square meters.

According to Italy in Russian, visitors can expect a flower field with four kilometers of rows of tulips, as well as new attractions and family-friendly activities, from windmills to giant Dutch wooden shoes called klompen. TripAdvisor has already named TuliPark one of the best places to visit in Rome in 2019.

The Tulipani-Italiani garden in Milan changed its location this year, moving from Cornaredo to Via Luraghi in the suburbs of Arese. The garden, the size of four football fields, is planted with over 570,000 bulbs of colorful Dutch tulips from 450 different varieties.

New additions this year include a picnic area and a children's playground, as well as the opportunity to participate in a romantic photo shoot. Tulipani-Italiani will open in the coming days; the exact date will be available on the garden's website.
