The insurer denied reports that the arms of a girl injured in the Dominican Republic were amputated.

ERV Insurance Company denied reports that a 12-year-old girl lost her arms in a car accident in the Dominican Republic, according to the company's executive director, Yulia Alcheeva.

 

 

“Many people, including children, were injured in a traffic accident in the Dominican Republic. The media began "There are reports that the 12-year-old girl's arms were amputated after the incident, but that's not true. The tourists' injuries range from mild to severe; I can't name them all," she said, according to Interfax.

As a reminder, a bus carrying 39 Russian tourists collided with a truck and overturned on its way to the airport in the Dominican Republic. Twenty-one people are hospitalized, and seven of them departed for Moscow on a scheduled flight.
