Tourist flow to Japan breaks records

Statistics for June showed a record increase in tourist flow from Russia to Japan, which reached 7,000 people. In 2017, this figure was 5,500 people, thus, the increase was 26.1%, the Japan National Tourism Organization reports.

An analysis of the top 20 markets for the first six months of 2018 revealed the top five. These are Russia (29.9%), Vietnam (23.7%), China (23.6%), the Philippines (22.7%), and Spain (20.1%). Record growth in tourist flow to Japan in June was shown by countries such as Indonesia (46.4%), Thailand (42.2%), Vietnam (34.9%), Italy (32.1%), and China (29.6%).
