RIA Novosti: Over the past 9 months, a record number of foreign tourists have visited Crimea – people came from 132 countries, which is due to the opening of the Crimean Bridge and the stabilization of the economy in Crimea.

"These are near, far and very far abroad, including the USA, Great Britain, France, Germany, Austria, Canada and others. Representatives of these countries all showed up in Crimea in small but organized groups. One of the factors attracting foreigners was medical tourism. They don't care about sanctions and what they say about Crimea, they already know from their own experience that our treatment is at the highest level, and it is impossible to replace it with anything," said Alexey Chernyak, head of the republic's parliamentary committee on health resort complex and tourism.
What is unusual is that foreign tourists are interested in vacationing in Crimean sanatoriums. Many note that they like the miraculously preserved spirit of the Soviet and post-Soviet era, the extraordinary design, the proximity to nature and fresh air.
