The Ministry of Culture has instructed Rostourism, along with relevant industry associations and the expert community, to review the request from Sergei Voytovich, head of the Svoy Turistveshchensky Servis group of companies, regarding restrictions on Booking.com's operations in Russia.

As a reminder, in April, Sergei Voytovich sent a letter to the Ministry of Culture proposing to block the American hotel booking service Booking.com in Russia in response to US anti-Russian sanctions.
"In response to your request on April 18, 2018, the Department of Tourism and Regional Policy of the Russian Ministry of Culture informs you that, in order to address the issue raised in your request, Rostourism has been instructed to work on it jointly with relevant industry associations and the expert community," the Ministry of Culture's letter states.
