
The popular tourist city of Hanoi, Vietnam, has launched a tour service that allows travelers to visit the capital's main attractions in just a couple of hours by bus, according to Asia Vietnam.
Double-decker Hop-On Hop-Off buses operate on pre-determined schedules. A route with stops at the city's main attractions. Tourists who purchase a ticket can hop on and off the bus as many times as they like during the purchased period.
In Hanoi, the city sightseeing tour includes 15 stops. Among them are Hanoi's Old Quarter, Ngoc Son Temple, the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam), the Museum of Fine Arts, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, West Lake, the 19th-century French-style Thang Long Imperial Citadel, the Hanoi Opera House, and much more. Tourists can purchase a ticket for 130,000 VND (approximately 335 rubles) and choose any destination during the city tour. The ticket is valid for one day only.
Hop-on hop-off buses are very popular with travelers. The service is available in cities such as Paris, Rome, Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Vienna, Barcelona, New York, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, and more. In the French capital, a one-day ticket starts at €33 (2,200 rubles). There are four routes with 50 stops.
In London, prices for Hop-On Hop-Off buses start from €27 (approx. 1,800 rubles), depending on the operator and route, in Rome from €11 (approx. 760 rubles). In Barcelona, prices start from €29 (approx. 2,000 rubles), in Amsterdam from €21 (approx. 1,450 rubles), and in Berlin from €14 (970 rubles).
Hop-on/hop-off bus tours in New York City cost €45 (3,200 rubles) and Dubai €42 (approximately 3,000 rubles). Similar tours are also available in Russian cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Kazan. In Moscow, a Hop-On Hop-Off tour costs €1,050, in St. Petersburg €11.85 (approximately 800 rubles), and in Kazan €10.20 (approximately 700 rubles).
