One of the most spectacular chocolate festivals, Eurochocolate 2018, will soon take place in central Italy. This was announced on the event's official website.
From October 19th to 28th, the best European confectioners and chocolate industry professionals will gather in Perugia to delight Local residents and numerous tourists will be treated to works of chocolate art. For the 25th time, the famous Eurochocolate Chocolate Festival will be held in the capital of the Italian region of Umbria.
At this large-scale event in the historic center of Perugia, sweet-toothed visitors will find numerous stalls and stands dedicated to this cocoa delicacy. Chocolates of various types and shapes will be available at special prices, including unusual chocolate sculptures and models, chocolate medicines, and sandwiches. This year's highlight will be a 4-meter-long box of chocolates containing 25 different natural chocolate treats. A full-scale party is planned for October 23rd, featuring the presentation of a giant cake with 25 candles.
The event will feature a mouth-watering exhibition from the world's largest chocolate emporium, Centro Storico, a display of cocoa bean sculptures, chocolate-making workshops, chocolate presentations from Italian boutiques, a tour of cocoa-producing countries, musical performances, and much more.
Guests of the 10-day chocolate festival are welcome from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the center of Perugia. Festival events will take place in Piazza IV Novembre, Piazza Matteotti, and Corso Vannucci.
